Ingredients:


3/4 cup sifted spelt flour (you can use any flour)

1/4 cup natural maple syrup or any liquid sweetener - honey/syrup

1/3 cup chocolate chips

1/4 cup halvah/tahini/peanut butter/almond butter spread

A pinch of baking powder (optional unless you want the cookies to puff up a little)

Toppings: You can add nut pieces/dark chocolate pieces or any topping you like.


Preparation method:

Mix all ingredients well until you get a uniform dough. If you need a little more liquid, you can add a little more maple syrup or other sweetener you used.

Preheat oven to 170 degrees.

Form cookies on baking paper according to the size you want - the cookies do not change their shape during baking.

Decorate with the desired toppings if you decide to use them.

Place in the oven for 7-9 minutes, depending on the type of oven. Be close to the oven so the cookies don't burn.


Remove and give the cookies time to cool. After the cookies cool, they will take on a crispy texture. Now store in an airtight container and enjoy.
